Environment

  • MAGNETON, a. s., adheres to all applicable Czech legal regulations concerning environmental protection and waste management.
  • In 2005 we here implemented the EMS according to ČSN EN ISO 14000 2005 and the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control Directive (IPPC) of the EU.
  • We have removed old environmental damage from the premises of our former branches (Kroměříž, Valašské Klobouky, Morkovice, and the Kotojedy dump). We expect that this environmental damage were completely removed in 2005.
  • We have discontinued technologies which are detrimental to the environment, such as degreasing in chlorinated hydrocarbons and hardening in a cyanide-containing salt baths).
  • We have been adhering to the emission limits applicable to air pollution and wastewater.
  • We carry out authorised activities involving the disposal of chemical substances and preparations for third parties.
  • We have adapted our technology to reduce the production of waste, wastewater and air pollution.
